Minister for Finance Michael McGrath visits Tirlán
We were delighted to welcome Minister for Finance Michael McGrath TD to our Collaboration Hub in Abbey Quarter.
Jim Bergin, Chief Executive of Tirlán Co-operative highlighted the economic impact of farming and food production in the south east, with over 19,000 jobs supported by the Co-op’s €5 billion economic footprint.
During the meeting with the Minister, Jim also highlighted the importance of retaining Ireland’s Nitrates Derogation beyond 2025 and outlined the proactive approach the Co-op is taking to improve water quality in the region.
