Tour de Tirlán raises record €108,000 for Irish charities
The 2026 Tour de Tirlán has raised an incredible €108,000 for three Irish charities, surpassing its original €100,000 fundraising target.
The funds will support Aiséirí, Aware and the Fr. McGrath Family Resource Centre Kilkenny, all of whom provide vital services to individuals, families and communities across Ireland.
Representatives from the three charities joined Tirlán colleagues at the Abbey Quarter Collaboration Hub in Kilkenny to officially receive the funds and mark the conclusion of this year’s fundraising campaign.
The €108,000 was raised with the support of colleagues, farmer stakeholders, Board and Council Members and the wider Tirlán community, through fundraising, donations and participation in Tour de Tirlán 2026.

More than 150 participants came together for this year’s event, taking on cycling routes ranging from 45km to 190km, as well as a new 10km Fun Walk. Tirlán colleagues in Shanghai also joined the challenge, taking Tour de Tirlán international in 2026.

Funds raised will help the three charity partners continue their important work. Aiséirí supports young people and families affected by addiction, Aware provides mental health supports and services across Ireland, while the Fr. McGrath Centre provides education, training and community supports to young people in Kilkenny.
